A repair serves to maintain the function of the device and the current preservation of the current value. It is not possible to increase the value of your Revox and Studer devices.
The main purpose of the repair is to ensure that the device functions satisfactorily and adheres to all parameters to some extent.
During the repair, only the defective components are replaced and billed including troubleshooting and functional testing.
A repair at revox-online includes:
O Incoming inspection and comparison with the customers error information
O Troubleshooting, error analysis and a possible consultation with the customer

O Check the device-specific parameters such as synchronism, quiescent current, frequency response and so on

Unfortunately it happens very often that repaired devices are advertised as refurbished devices and sold overpriced. When looking through the workshop invoice that you receive with the device, you find that only three electrolytic capacitors, a fuse and possibly a light have been replaced. In our understanding, this is far from a general overhaul, it is simply fraud!
We can and only want to guarantee our work! You only receive a guarantee on our work and the components and assemblies we use. There is a very high risk that the device will malfunction after the repair. Nevertheless, we also carry out repairs and are happy to advise you in this regard!
