A tiresome subject is the toggle switches of the Revox B700 series.
Again and again the plastic levers of the toggle switches break off. Either the plastic becomes brittle over the decades due to the loss of the plasticizer, or the levers break through overuse!

Of course, the levers look great and fit perfectly with the Revox design. Also, the feel and the switching behavior is first class. If one had to replace a toggle switch, it went straight to the 40.00 € (2 * UM) or even 50.00 € (4 * UM). Meanwhile there are no new toggle switches anymore!
Then we looked for a company that can produce levers in the required quality. Another company was responsible for the nickel plating and the subsequent chrome plating.
Meanwhile, we have the toggle lever made of one piece of aluminum and anodize.
The repair

Drill two hollow rivets of the toggle switches and carefully separate the upper part of the toggle switch from the lower part.
Watch out! The switch has a spring installed that likes to jump off!
The items
of the switch are next to the spring, the plastic lever, the carriage with cover, the two or four contacts with the respective springs, which press the contacts outwards against the cover, the deflection unit, two nuts, two rubber buffers and two housing shells.

To repair the toggle switch, you do not need to disassemble the carriage. The contacts with the springs, slides and cover remain together as a unit.

So that the nut of the upper housing shell does not always fall down during installation, it is temporarily fixed provisionally with one of the screws supplied.

All this must be in the lower housing shell.
The spring ensures that the construction always falls apart! Here you have to bring some patience and keep everything together somehow. Then screw the upper housing shell onto it and with the second screw.

Now loosen with the first screw that holds the inner nut, and also screw the other side of the housing.

That's what it should look like when you have everything assembled.
Instead of riveting the housing shells are screwed together.
